Fear Drove Me

I didn’t have to be fearful or anxious. I didn’t have to punish myself, this unnecessary suffering, which only added weight, anchoring me to sadness and despair. I played the game on hard, and I didn’t know I had a choice to make it easy.

In moments of blissful enlightenment, I realize how unnecessary it was, so much suffering I created in me.

In moments of blissful enlightenment, I realize how necessary it was, to play the game on hard, weighted.

Today, I work out with a weighted vest.

When the vest comes off – it comes off of my time of choosing – I am light, and able to fly.
