My love for people, and their potential for greatness blinds me to sycophants.
I am more naive than I think – that is part of naiveity, now isn’t it?
I must protect myself and our company from such foolishness.
Certain people, most likely more people than I’d like to estimate, will behave and act in accordance with what pleases me.
This is how people are.
And it’s naive of me to not recognize it.
More so naive to believe I will ever fully see it, for it is my duty and inherently my nature to trust others. If I lose this, both I and my world would be at a loss. No, there are other ways to root out and expose such people. One is, to rely on the assessment of others who have proven themselves. Noble people I can trust, who possess higher believability in such matters. It be wise for them to set traps for newcomers.
